Gerry Goldstein is a nationally respected defense lawyer and past president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Goldstein is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, was a Texas Lawyer Legal Legend and was named to the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Hall of Fame. He was named to the Top 100 list in Super Lawyers®, recognized as an outstanding criminal defense attorney by the State Bar of Texas and profiled in numerous publications. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas and St. Mary’s University schools of law. He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Van G. Hilley has been voted one of the Top 10 lawyers in San Antonio in the Scene in San Antonio Magazine poll since 2005 and listed in Texas Super Lawyers since 2003. Hilley is past president of the San Antonio Bar Association and serves as a member of the State Bar of Texas’ board of directors. He chairs the Bar’s professionalism development committee and serves as chairman of the U.S. District Court magistrate selection committee.

Cynthia Eva Hujar Orr is a nationally respected trial and appellate lawyer. She is vice president of the NACDL and past president of the San Antonio and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers associations. Orr is on the ABA Criminal Justice Council and House of Delegates, listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Super Lawyers, and The American Trial Lawyers Association selected her as one of 2007’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas. Orr speaks for the ABA, NACDL, Bar groups and at St. Mary’s School of Law. A member of the San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame, she clerked for judge Emilio Garza, co-founded the Texas Innocence Network and serves on the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Orr is board-certified in criminal law. This year she won a unanimous decision in the U.S. Supreme Court.
